Hope In The Storm

Hope in the Storm

To receive peace when your world is in chaos, call on Jesus for help.

Matthew 8:23-27

Many people in the world—maybe even you—are facing terrible storms in their life. Broken homes, joblessness, loneliness, loss, financial struggles, and world crises slash at the very fabric of hope. Some may even feel as though they’re lost, adrift at sea in a small boat during a hurricane. And many wonder, How on earth will we be able to reach the shore safely?

The disciples faced this fear as well. While they were crossing the Sea of Galilee in their boat, the weather took a frightening turn. In desperation, they woke Jesus and cried, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” (Matt. 8:25). He rebuked them for their lack of faith and proceeded to calm the storm, showing Himself to be Lord over all creation.

This story teaches us where we should turn when storms arise in our own life. Sometimes people interpret challenging events as an indication that God isn’t paying attention. That’s what the disciples thought until Christ calmed the turbulent waters. But even when the world seems out of control, remember that Jesus is in the boat with you, and He’s still Lord of all.

2 Samuel 22:3 KJV: The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield,

and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge,

my Savior; thou savest me from violence.

Every morning tell the Lord "Thank You"! Make it a daily habit to tell the Lord Thank You. It will change your day, life, attitude, and outlook on your journey called "Life with Christ".

God Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Lord Jesus. God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. Thank You for being my Savior, Lord, Redeemer, and Deliver.

Thank You for being my healer and great physician. Thank You for being my provider. You supply all my needs. Thank You for being my counselor, defender, protector, the shepherd of my soul, my rock, and fortress.

You are my light in the darkness. Thank You. You are my refuge and strength, my very present help in the time of trouble. Thank You. You are my place of safety. I am in Your hands. All is well. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

You are my best friend. You always have my best interest at heart. You always want the best for me. Thank You. You are God's Blessing to me, that keeps on blessing me. Thank You.

Your Word is my source of hope. You are my source. Thank You. You will never leave me or forsake me. You are always with me. Thank You. You are the answer to all my prayers. In this I am confident. Thank You. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle. He is the King of glory! Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Lord Jesus!"
